previous projects

Laura founded Morning Cloak Farm & Flowers (2020-2023) as a project to cultivate flowers, strengthen local small-scale agriculture, and weave flowers and floral design into the community.

The quarter of an acre field was located at the H.O.G. Farm in Brookhaven, NY.  Flowers were grown adhering to regenerative philosophies and practices. Morning Cloak cultivated without harmful pesticides or herbicides, minimized tillage and soil disturbance, and amended the soil without any synthetic fertilizers.

Before that, Laura was a farmer and the manager of the cut-flower production at Amber Waves Farm in Amagansett, NY (2017-2019).
